working parents; presents various programs, including those

Mentoring (Equal Opportunity): Matches members
as mentors to protégées, woman law students
and new graduates; mentors help orient the protégées
into the legal field; not job recruitment. The chairperson
is the chapter liaison to the WBASNY committee.

with not-for-profit groups for free legal screening; seeks

Take Our Children To Work Day: A well-established
event, annually a group of young women are the guests of our
chapter throughout the Nassau County court system, followed
by a luncheon at the Nassau County Bar Association. The event
celebrates National Take Our Children To Work Day, a national
event organized by the Ms. Foundation.
